Teenage aviatrix and barnstormer Dorothy “Dot” Hester who learned to fly at the Tex Rankin School of Flying in Portland, OR and Vancouver, WA in the later 1920s and early 1930s. At the age of 21 she set the record for most continuous outside loops at an airshow in Omaha, a record that wasn’t broken until 1989.
